Tiffin Boxes are the Indian version of UK Tupperwares and used to take lunch into work

The top section has its own lid; then each compartment becomes the lid of the one below it. They are all carried in a frame that is easily detachable and re-connected

The artisans I work with in Maharashtra have hand-painted these stainless steel Tiffin Boxes to create works of art that also serve a purpose

You can use a Tiffin Box

- for picnics, days out, work or college lunches;

- as storage tins, with or without the detachable steel carry frame

- or simply as a a piece to bring some exotic cheer to your home. I adore them!

PLEASE NOTE - wash the inside with soapy water and simply wipe the outside gently to avoid rubbing away the natural plant-dye paint. Do not put in a dishwasher
